Is the sanding really dust-free? +

Our advanced extraction equipment captures up to 99% of dust at the source as we sand. You'll have minor residual dust at most — far cleaner than traditional sanding methods and dramatically less disruptive for your home or business.

How long does a typical floor sanding job take? +

An average single room takes 1–2 days from start to finish, depending on the floor's condition, the finish chosen, and drying times between coats. Larger jobs and full ground floors usually run 3–5 days. Freddie will give you a clear timeline at the quote stage.

Can you restore a floor that's been painted over? +

Yes — even fully painted Victorian pine floors. We've rescued floors that other tradesmen had written off. We'll assess condition first, but in most cases the original wood is salvageable with the right approach.

Do you replace damaged or missing floorboards? +

Absolutely. Where boards are too damaged to keep, we source matching reclaimed timber so the replacement blends seamlessly with the rest of the floor. Gap filling between boards is also part of our standard service where required.
